From 4th and Mapleton, drive into the foothills about 3.5 miles (The addresses are the mileage from 4th and Mapleton; i.e. 2700 is 2.7 miles). Mapleton becomes Sunshine Canyon Road. Look for a dirt driveway on the right and a sign with a few addresses on it; one of them says "3476". Drive up the hill, where parking is clearly marked to the right. Walk down along the roped path to the northeast, crossing a dirt road through the trees to The StarHouse. Please wear shoes appropriate for a short walk through a forest. Car-pooling is encouraged.

Integrate your Summer and Kick off your Fall with Dance and Sound Medicine with a Ixeeya and A circle of Women at the Starhouse temple .

... You are invited to create the circle for the 2011 Equinox seasonal dance of balance and integration. Become the living, dancing prayer for what has been this summer and what is to come this next season, together !

All Women Welcome to join the circle and play and pray at your own pace!

This is a day to move , make sound, dance your stories and discover the intentions you hold for this next season .

The day is held in the traditions of sisterhood and earth centered healing . Movement and sound are ancient medicines used cross culturally . Equinox is a powerful vortex in the cycle of the year , the time of balance , the time of harvest , a perfect time to experience the potent medicine of circle, sound and movement !

This workshop introduces 2 Movement maps . (MAPS THAT WERE BIRTHED OUT OF THE ROOTSYSTEMS OF THE 5 RYTHMS/Wildlife , Shamanic HEALING AND THE CEREMONIAL ARTS CHALICE OF STARHOUSE .)The Sacred Symbols- a movement and sound map that connects us into the wisdom of our own bodies as well as the wisdom of how light moves in and all around us and the Prayer Wheel - a dance map that creates a sacred nest for the stories and archtypes living us to emerge and be danced!

The journey into your self and your stories through these sound and movement maps can be very empowering , freeing, revealing and tender . The birth of your story will be lovingly midwifed by me Ixeeya and the circle . Your story will be held as sacred medicine and prayer for this Equinox threshold . You are always welcome to choose the role of witness if you are not ready to share your story publicly. The role of witness is a great service to others and potent medicine for you as well.

We believe the awakening of our stories hold within them the prayers for what has been and what is to come ... the medicine and revelations we all long for .

Oh this is so very exciting , isnt it !!! I just love this practice. And sharing it with you .
